About this journal
ZWF – Zeitschrift für wirtschaftlichen Fabrikbetrieb provides expert articles on recent developments in production engineering as well as on industrial service processes. The magazine addresses companies’ executives and specialists in research and development.
The main emphasis is put on the efficiency of production processes and cost reduction. Attention is also dedicated to manpower as being a key factor for the successful implementation of new production technology. Modern and efficient plant management increasingly requires a holistic approach, which is the canon for the editorial work of ZWF. Published in German only.
All articles are subject to thorough, independent peer review.

- A directly printable version of the contribution is required to be forwarded for refereeing
- The editorial office will forward your manuscript for peer-review. This takes on average 4 to 6 weeks until a first decision is reached.
- You will be informed by e-mail if your manuscript has been accepted or rejected or if it requires further attention
- When manuscripts are accepted subject to revision, the revised manuscript should be returned within approx. one month
