Abstract

Security challenges are multidimensional, interconnected, and transboundary in nature, scale and scope. Human security will require a transdisciplinary and international approach, blending public health, policy, security studies, and sustainable development planning. Human security begins with local communities. Lifelong learning systems for sustainable development offers a holisitic and inclusive approach for community wide learning that can promote systems thinking for human security.
