1 Source of materials
A mixture of H2DPIPC (0.05 mmol, 0.01285 g, 2-(4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-1,3-dioxoisoindoline-5-carboxylic acid), Zn(NO3)2⋅6H2O (0.05 mmol, 0.015 g), DMA (1 mL, N,N′-dimethylacetamide), and H2O (1 mL) was stirred for 30 min and then sealed in a 15 mL Teflon-lined reactor and heated at 120 °C for 72 h.
2 Experimental details
The structure was solved by Direct Methods and refined using the SHELXTL package. Hydrogen atoms were generated geometrically. 2 , 3
3 Comment
In recent years, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have gained significant attention in the field of materials science. 4 , 5 These materials have shown great potential in various application areas such as gas adsorption and storage, catalysis, drug delivery, and sensor development. 6 – 8 However, the synthesis of MOFs was primarily based on a specific single type of ligand, such as carboxylic or nitrogen-containing ligands. Recently, the combination of bifunctional ligands to construct MOFs has attracted huge attention, enriching the diversity of MOFs. 1 – 11 The asymmetric unit of the title MOF consists of one Zn2+ ion, one DPIPC2− ligand and one coordinated DMA. Zn2+ ion is four-coordinated with two oxygen atoms from one DPIPC2− ligand and one coordinated DMF, and two nitrogen atoms from two DPIPC2−. The Zn–O bond distances range from 1.9361(17) to 1.9621(17) Å, and the Zn–N bond distance is 1.9854(18)–1.9989(17) Å, respectively. The DPIPC2− ligand is connected to the Zn2+ ion to form a two dimensional layer. Two dimensional layers are dislocated and interspersed to form a three dimensional framework.
All structural parameters are in the expected ranges. 11
