Simplified determination of total lignin content in kraft lignin samples and black liquors

Abstract
Determination of total lignin content in lignin samples and black liquors using methods with reduced or omitted acid hydrolysis has been compared to the standard method, and results show that the simplified methods yield equivalent results.
