Abstract

There can be no room for compromise when it comes to quality in any industry. In today’s economy, customers demand and expect a return on their investment. There must be a constant effort to produce high-quality work as a clothing manufacturer. Industrialists or manufacturers must manage and monitor the quality of products and services through quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) systems. These are the key factors for the increased competitiveness of their companies. QC and QA systems together constitute the key quality systems and the parts of quality management. QC is concerned with ensuring that quality requirements are met, and assurance is concerned with ensuring that they will be met. The quality systems must be commensurate with the company’s business objectives and business model. Top management commitment and active involvement are critical for the successful implementation of quality systems.
