Road Network and Roman Frontier in Numidia: the Region of Tobna

Abstract
The area of Tobna is considered as one of the best kept southern borders in Roman Africa. This idea was deduced from the important remains discovered in this zone, from which the testimonies of road network. These were interpreted as part of the defence of the provincial frontier. The present study proposes to take up the data concerning the roads in the area of Tobna, in order to better understand their relation with the notion of border.
