Christology today. Remarks on some proposals and possible ways forward

Abstract
The field of Christology is torn between different approaches, from the contextual and liberationist to the ontologically and traditionally focused, not to mention recent proposals that favor distinct approaches. Dialogue between these approaches is infrequent and difficult, but it is necessary. Christian theology would be enriched, still today, by reconnecting discussions of Jesus Christ’s person with reflections on his salvific ‘work’. A Christology that pays attention to the theme of the ‘covenant’ might help us come closer to doing this.

Abstract
