Salomo und die Sonne. Zur Rekonstruktion des Tempelweihspruchs I Reg 8,12f.

This article deals with the Greek version of Solomon's consecration of the temple in I Reg 8,12/III Regn 8,53 (LXX) and the question whether it is possible to reconstruct its Vorlage. The article concludes, first, that a reliable retroversion of the Greek text into Hebrew is not possible. Secondly, the Old Greek presents its own theological exposition regarding Solomon's temple. Finally, the presumed Vorlage of the LXX cannot be used to reconstruct the ideology of the pre-Solomonic temple.

Cet article est consacré à la version grecque de la prière que Salomon a prononcée, d'après I Reg 8,12 / III Reg 8,53 (LXX), lors de l'inauguration du temple. En approfondissant le problème de la source du texte grec, on aboutit à un triple résultat: 1) le texte grec ne permet pas d'en reconstituer avec sûreté le modèle hébreu; 2) la LXX place l'accent sur d' autres motifs concernant la théologie du temple, et 3) le supposé modèle hébreu de la LXX ne se prête pas à la reconstitution d'une théologie du temple qui remonterait à une époque antérieure à Salomon.

Der Beitrag untersucht die griechische Version des Tempelweihspruches Salomos I Reg 8,12/III Regn 8,53 (LXX) und mögliche Rekonstruktionen seiner älteren Vorlage. Es zeigt sich, dass a) eine sichere Rückübersetzung nicht möglich ist, dass b) die LXX ein eigenes tempeltheologisches Interesse zeigt und c) die mutmaßliche Vorlage nicht für die Rekonstruktion der vorsalomonischen Tempelvorstellung ausgewertet werden kann.
