Ius tribuo conubii – Beobachtungen zum Privilegienparagraphen der Prätorianerdiplome

Zusammenfassung
Fur die Empfanger von Militardiplomen aus der Gruppe der Pratorianer und Stadtkohorten gilt das im Zuge der ehrenvollen Entlassung verliehene Eherecht mit einer Peregrinen als besondere Auszeichnung. Die Einzelheiten dieses ius conubii werden im sogenannten Privilegienparagraphen, dem dritten von insgesamt sieben, festgelegt. Abschriften der normierten Diplomtexte sind bisher (vollstandig oder in Teilen) auf rund neunzig Tafelchen erhalten; sowohl auf der Ausen- wie auch (als Dublette) auf der Innenseite. Worin sich diese primaren (extrinsecus) und sekundaren (intus) Diplomformulare unterscheiden und welche Auffalligkeiten sich dort offenbaren, ist Gegenstand dieser Textanalyse.
