-
Vladimir P. Petrović
Abstract
The strategic position of the region of Central Balkans between East and West of the Roman Empire and its well known wealth in mineral sources (ores), gave the most favorable preconditions for the construction and establishment of the large scale of Roman terrestrial and fluvial communication lines of the different character and chronology as well, as for the particular urbanization system. Some recent developments concerning the scientific research in this territory tend to broaden our previous knowledge and to revise the persisting conclusions.
