Alternativmedientheorie im Wandel

Rechtsgerichtete Medienphänomene als Ausdruck publizistischer Gegenöffentlichkeit

Zusammenfassung

Die Theorie zu Alternativen Medien evolviert in den vergangenen Jahren von einer Betrachtung linker Angebote hin zu rechten und rechtsextremen Medienphänomenen. Von dieser Beobachtung ausgehend, fasst dieser Beitrag Konzepte zum Gegenstand zusammen und argumentiert anschließend für die Anerkennung rechtsgerichteter Medien als eine empirisch anzutreffende Variante von Alternativmedien.

Abstract

In recent years, the theory of alternative media has shifted it’s focus from left-wing to right-wing and far-right media. Starting from this point, this article summarizes concepts on the subject and then argues for the recognation of right-wing media as a type of alternative media.
