Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry
Ein Kapitel aus dem Buch Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry

Abstract

Refrigeration systems have at least one circuit containing a heat transfer fluid or working fluid. These systems cannot be totally hermetic. Because of potential leaks, new working fluids will have to be chosen according to their impacts on global warming. The physicochemical properties of these fluids will have to be determined in order to develop or optimize refrigeration processes. This chapter presents calorimetric techniques for the determination of heat capacities and heat of vaporization.
