In this paper, we introduce some definitions of generalized affine set-valued maps: affinelike, preaffinelike, nearaffinelike, and prenearaffinelike maps. We present examples to explain that our definitions of generalized affine maps are different from each other. We derive a theorem of alternative of Farkas–Minkowski type, discuss Lagrangian multipliers for constrained set-valued optimization problems, and obtain some optimality conditions for weakly efficient solutions.

Fusion frames are widely studied for their applications in recovering signals from large data. These are proved to be very useful in many areas, for example, wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we discuss a generalization of fusion frames, K -fusion frames. K -fusion frames provide decompositions of a Hilbert space into atomic subspaces with respect to a bounded linear operator. This article studies various kinds of properties of K -fusion frames. Several perturbation results on K -fusion frames are formulated and analyzed.

In this paper, a class of nondense impulsive differential equations with nonlocal condition in the frame of the conformable fractional derivative is studied. The abstract results concerning the existence, uniqueness and stability of the integral solution are obtained by using the extrapolation semigroup approach combined with some fixed point theorems.

In this paper, we obtain some fixed point theorems for multivalued mappings in incomplete metric spaces. Moreover, as motivated by the recent work of Olgun, Minak and Altun [M. Olgun, G. Minak and I. Altun, A new approach to Mizoguchi–Takahashi type fixed point theorems, J. Nonlinear Convex Anal. 17 2016, 3, 579–587], we improve these theorems with a new generalization contraction condition for multivalued mappings in incomplete metric spaces. This result is a significant generalization of some well-known results in the literature. Also, we provide some examples to show that our main theorems are a generalization of previous results. Finally, we give an application to a boundary value differential equation.

The method of reduction of a Fredholm integral equation to the linear system is generalized to construction of a complex potential – an analytic function in an unbounded multiply connected domain with a simple pole at infinity which maps the domain onto a plane with horizontal slits. We consider a locally sourceless, locally irrotational flow on an arbitrary given 𝑛-connected unbounded domain with impermeable boundary. The complex potential has the form of a Cauchy integral with one linear and 𝑛 logarithmic summands. The method is easily computable.

In this article, we study initial and initial-boundary value problems for a non-strictly hyperbolic system whose characteristic speed is not smooth and takes values in { - 1 , 0 , 1 } {\{-1,0,1\}} . We construct an explicit formula for the weak solution. We also study the interaction of waves and the large time asymptotic behavior of a solution for the case when the initial data is periodic with zero mean over the period and also for the case when the initial data has compact support.

The main aim of this paper is to use the operational matrices of fractional integration of Haar wavelets to find the numerical solution for a nonlinear system of two-dimensional fractional partial Volterra integral equations. To do this, first we present the operational matrices of fractional integration of Haar wavelets. Then we apply these matrices to solve systems of two-dimensional fractional partial Volterra integral equations (2DFPVIE). Also, we present the error analysis and convergence as well. At the end, some numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.

In this paper, we discuss how to partially determine the Fourier transform F ⁢ ( z ) = ∫ - 1 1 f ⁢ ( t ) ⁢ e i ⁢ z ⁢ t ⁢ 𝑑 t , z ∈ ℂ , F(z)=\int_{-1}^{1}f(t)e^{izt}\,dt,\quad z\in\mathbb{C}, given the data | F ⁢ ( z ) | {\lvert F(z)\rvert} or arg ⁡ F ⁢ ( z ) {\arg F(z)} for z ∈ ℝ {z\in\mathbb{R}} . Initially, we assume [ - 1 , 1 ] {[-1,1]} to be the convex hull of the support of the signal f . We start with reviewing the computation of the indicator function and indicator diagram of a finite-typed complex-valued entire function, and then connect to the spectral invariant of F ⁢ ( z ) {F(z)} . Then we focus to derive the unimodular part of the entire function up to certain non-uniqueness. We elaborate on the translation of the signal including the non-uniqueness associates of the Fourier transform. We show that the phase retrieval and magnitude retrieval are conjugate problems in the scattering theory of waves.

In this work, synchronization of fractional dynamics of chaotic system is presented. The suggested dynamics is governed by a system of fractional differential equations, where the fractional derivative operator is modeled by the novel Caputo operator. The nature of fractional dynamical system is non-local which often rules out a closed-form solution. As a result, an efficient numerical method based on shifted Chebychev spectral collocation method is proposed. The error and convergence analysis of this scheme is also given. Numerical results are given for different values of fractional order and other parameters when applied to solve chaotic system, to address any points or queries that may occur naturally.

In this paper, we study M -projective curvature tensors on an ( LCS ) 2 ⁢ n + 1 {(\mathrm{LCS})_{2n+1}} -manifold. Here we study M -projectively Ricci symmetric and M -projectively flat admitting spacetime.

In this paper, we consider general cases of linear Volterra integral equations under minimal assumptions on their weakly singular kernels and introduce a new product integration method in which we involve the linear interpolation to get a better approximate solution, figure out its effect and also we provide a convergence proof. Furthermore, we apply our method to a numerical example and conclude this paper by adding a conclusion

In this detailed study of 3-segment non-convex simple arcs inscribed in the 30 ∘ {30^{\circ}} sector, we show that each such arc of length one fits in the interior of the sector of radius one with the prescribed embedding. We discuss implications of this study for covering problems involving triangular covers and for the worm problem of Leo Moser.
