About this journal
The journal Altorientalischen Forschungen publishes original research on the history and culture of the Ancient Near East as well as exchanges with neighboring regions such as Central Asia, Egypt and the Aegean. Philological and archaeological (including art historical) investigations are equally welcomed. All contributions are peer-reviewed. The journal is published both in print and online.
