This chapter is in the book Social Policy Review 17

Abstract

This chapter analyses the recent developments in education policy, and examines policy related to primary, secondary, and higher education in England. It argues that the approach of Labour to reform has been characterised by incremental change instead of significant departures from policies which were introduced by former Conservative governments.
