EURANED: An European Initiative in Disaster Prevention and Disaster Management

Abstract
EURANED is a product of a tri-national working group trying to enhance the level of knowledge on issues of disaster prevention and disaster management. The aim is to provide a website with relevant information on that topic and a database that could be used for networking activities.
Zusammenfassung
EURANED ist eine tri-nationale Arbeitsgruppe die grenzüberschreitend Notfallvorsorge und -management in den Blick nimmt. Ziel ist es mit einer innovativen Internetseite die Kenntnisse zu den beiden Themen zu bündeln und zu präsentieren und darüber hinaus Werkzeuge für eine effektive Vernetzung von Archiven zur Verfügung zu stellen.
Résumé
EURANED (European Archival Network for Disaster Management) est le produit d'une recherche effectuée par un groupe tri-national d'experts qui s'est fixé pour objectif d'améliorer l'état des connaissances requises afin de prévenir et de maîtriser la situation des archives en cas de catastrophes. Le but est de créer un site internet contenant des informations pertinentes sur ce sujet et un fichier informatique de données qui permettrait un échange international entre les experts.
