Zusammenfassung
„Faktizität“ bezeichnet in der Fundamentaltheologie der Systematischen Theologie von Eilert Herms das zu-verstehen Gegebensein von etwas, das sich kategorial vom zu-verstehen Gegebenen (Faktum) unterscheidet. Herms erweitert hier eine Einsicht des „schlechthinigen Abhängigkeitsgefühls“ Friedrich Schleiermachers. Obwohl diese Erweiterung eine wichtige Entdeckung für die Fundamentaltheologie darstellt, wird der Begriff der Faktizität bei Herms mit Bedeutungen überfrachtet. Der Beitrag zeigt, dass theologische Topoi, die Herms zu Implikationen der Faktizität erhebt, anderen Momenten der Gotteserfahrung zuzuschreiben sind, um Kategoriefehlern zu vermeiden.
Summary
According to the Systematic Theology by Eilert Herms, „Faktizität“ (facticity) means the giveness for understanding, which is categorically different from the giving for understanding (fact). Thus, Herms reconstructs an important implication of the term “schlechthiniges Abhängigkeitsgefühl” by Friedrich Schleiermacher. Although the discovery of this implication is important for founding theology, the term “facticity” is overloaded with theological topics in Herms’ setting. The paper reveals consequences of categorical fallacies as long as facticity is not focused on its original meaning.
