Zhou-min Yuan is Professor of linguistics at the Department of Applied Foreign Language Studies, and researcher of China Research Center for Language Strategies, Nanjing University. His major research interests include pragmatics, discourse studies and language in social governance. His recent publications include articles in Pragmatics (2025), Digital Scholarship in the Humanities (2025) Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development (2024), Humanities and Social Sciences Communications (2024), Pragmatics & Society (2023), Scientometrics (2022). He is the author of “Online News” in Tracy, K., C. Ilie, and T. Sandel (eds) International Encyclopedia of Language and Social Interaction.
