General
Please join us for the 19th International Symposium on Homogeneous Catalysis (ISHC-XIX), taking place in the Ottawa Convention Center from July 6 to 11, 2014. The leading conference in homogeneous catalysis, the ISHC showcases advances ranging from new catalyzed reactions and processes, to ligand and catalyst design, and mechanistic advances that can change implementation into practice. Its size, single-symposium format, and highly engaged poster sessions all foster active, animated, engaged discussion.
Conference program and speakers
There will be formal and informal opportunities to meet and discuss with leading scientists and next-generation talent from academia and industry, as well as innovators and suppliers of the compounds and instrumentation central to molecular.
Invited speakers are: Lutz Ackermann, Martin Albrecht, Valentin Ananikov, Pher Andersson, Luigi Cavallo, Sukbok Chang, Cathleen Crudden, Christophe Darcel, Bas de Bruin, Elena Fernández, Robert Grubbs, Tim Jamison, Aiwen Lei, Guy Lloyd-Jones, Kazushi Mashima, Stefan Mecking, Robert H. Morris, Yoshiaki Nakao, Takashi Ooi, Eduardo Peris, Rinaldo Poli, Mark Stradiotto, Helma Wennemers and Jin-Quan Yu.
The ISHC has an outstanding reputation for excellence and highly engaged discussion, and has long been a focal point for scientists at the forefront of homogeneous catalysis worldwide. With beautiful waterways, historic architecture, and an abundance of parklands and open space, Ottawa is Canada’s capital and 4th largest city. The weather in July is glorious, with nearly 14 h of sunshine, and daily high temperatures averaging 25–26°C, cooling overnight.
