-
Jochen Raysz
Abstract
Can we find inner sustainability without stepping away from our passionate pursuit of a sustainable future? What if we could thrive and create meaningful impact in the world without the pervasive costs of friction, stress, and burnout?
This chapter introduces the transformative power of Dzogchen, an ancient Tibetan wisdom philosophy and practice, and explores how it can help us tap into our innate ease, clarity, and potency to address the crises we face as a global culture.
Through personal stories of a life-changing journey, the text illustrates the profound inner transformation that Dzogchen practice can bring about. At the heart of Dzogchen practice is the recognition of the true nature of mind — the mirror-like awareness that remains unchanging amid our countless life experiences.
Stabilizing the recognition of this essence of our being through simple practices woven into everyday life, unlocks our full capacity for empowered being, thinking, relating, collaborating and acting. It opens a mindset from fear, lack, and scarcity into one of abundance, generosity and vast potential.
The chapter highlights how Dzogchen can support growth in several IDG skills and offers tools and practices for a fundamental shift into a conscious and resilient way of being that effortlessly infuses our actions in the world. By living from the essence of our being, we ignite the inner transformation required to powerfully and sustainably contribute to a thriving world.
