Smart Green Energy Production
Ein Kapitel aus dem Buch Smart Green Energy Production

Abstract

Among the main tasks facing the international community today is the expansion of the use of renewable energy sources, which are associated with climate change and negative environmental impacts. Turkmenistan has significant potential for renewable energy sources, the development of which will bring positive environmental, economic, and social benefits. Given this potential, Turkmenistan has adopted a number of state programs and strategies for the development of renewable energy sources. The peculiarities of the climatic and geographical conditions of Turkmenistan open up huge opportunities for the development of renewable energy in the country. These opportunities will help improve energy supply to consumers far from the central grid and reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the environment. Of particular interest are solar and wind energy. The potential of solar energy per year is equivalent to 1.4 tons of fuel, and the potential of wind energy is 640 billion kWh. According to the research results, it can be said that there are about 2,950-3,100 h of sunshine in Turkmenistan, which provides significant opportunities for their use in the national economy for the production of electricity and heat. Additionally, this scientific work notes the available potentials of geothermal waters and hydroenergy are noted
