Dyson–Schwinger equations: Fix-point equations for quantum fields
-
Dirk Kreimer
Abstract
We consider the structure of renormalizable quantum field theories fromthe viewpoint of their corresponding equations of motions for Wightman functions - the Dyson-Schwinger equations. These equations originate from fix-point equations in Hochschild cohomology. This overview gives an update on recent results.
