Abstract
The local oxygen concentration of titanium alloys, such as Ti6Al4V, is of great interest but experimentally difficult to determine. One method to measure the local distribution with atomic level resolution is the 3-dimensional atom probe. We show a way how to prepare Ti6Al4V samples and present and discuss first results.
Abstract
Die lokale Sauerstoffverteilung in Titanlegierungen, wie Ti6Al4V, ist von großem Interesse, aber experimentell nur schwer zu ermitteln. Mit der 3-dimensionalen Atomsonde ist es möglich, eine lokale Verteilung mit atomarer Auflösung zu bestimmen. In dieser Arbeit wird gezeigt, wie Ti6Al4V-Proben für die Analyse präpariert werden können. Erste Ergebnisse werden präsentiert und diskutiert.
