Note from the Editors
The Journal of Literary Theory is introducing a new section: »Debates«. Unlike the section of the same name in earlier volumes of the journal, where discussions were initiated by the editors, the new section provides a forum for responses to current articles, particularly those published in recent issues of the JLT. Contributions to this section may criticize, develop, or modify the theses and arguments of the original articles. The section aims to foster a culture of debate within literary theory, to encourage ongoing discussions of controversial issues, and to highlight different perspectives. Submissions to this section will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process.
