Wen Qiufang is Professor of English and Director of the National Research Center for Foreign Language Education at Beijing Foreign Studies University. Currently, she is President of China English Language Education Association and Research Network coordinator of AILA. She serves as Editor-in-Chief of two journals, i.e.
Chinese Journal of Applied Linguistics andForeign Language Education in China . Her research interests include English as a lingua franca, second language acquisition, teacher development, and language policy.
