Abstract
Crystalline TiO2 films were prepared at 80 °C using a combination of electrochemical and electrophoretical deposition. After optimization of the pre-treatment, the stirring rate and the nanoparticle content of the deposition suspension the solar conversion efficiency of the films could be increased by a factor of five compared to films electrodeposited under otherwise identical conditions without addition of nanoparticles.
