Abstract
More than a decade ago, Markus Wäfler suggested a statistics based approach to the localisation of unidentified dwelling sites. After that, the first and as to now only attempt to try this approach on practical data has been published by Grégory Chambon in BBVO 20. The following tries to be a critical review of some aspects of what happened so far.
