16 Mothers Matter: Discussing Motherhood in Gender Studies and Feminist New Materialisms

Lisa Krall
Lisa Krall is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Gender Studies (GeStiK) of University of Cologne and the scientific coordinator of the project “UoC IMPACT – University of Cologne IMPlementig Gender AspeCTs in Research”. After her dissertation on a new materialist reading of epigenetics she started her research on motherhood, mothering and care from feminist and new materialist perspectives. Correspondingly she works with Donna Haraway’s concept of compost and the critique of anthropocentrism, gives workshops on it and pulishes on the subject together with colleagues from academia and art.
