Jugendverbände in die Schule?

Abstract
Due to the expansion of all-day-schools in Germany, pupils have less and less time for leisure activities – including religious activities. At the same time, more and more all-day-schools collaborate with extracurricular organizations – partly with church organizations – to enhance their extracurricular programs. The question, what chances and limitations cooperation projects between the ‘systems’ school and youth ministry have, is unexplored. The article discusses these questions conceptually and investigates all-day-schools empirically; based on a qualitative study of a cooperation project between all-day-schools and an association of church youth work (BDKJ).
Zusammenfassung
Durch die Ausweitung der Ganztagsschule in Deutschland haben Schüler immer weniger Zeit für Freizeit – und damit auch für religiöse Aktivitäten. Zugleich kooperieren immer mehr Ganztagsschulen mit außerschulischen, teils auch kirchlichen Organisationen und Einrichtungen, um ihr außerunterrichtliches Angebot zu bereichern. Welche Chancen und Grenzen solche Kooperationsprojekte zwischen den Systemen Schule und kirchlicher Jugendarbeit besitzen, ist bislang weitgehend unerforscht. Im folgenden Beitrag werden diese daher sowohl konzeptionell entfaltet als auch anhand einer qualitativen Studie eines Kooperationsprojekts zwischen kirchlicher Jugendverbandsarbeit (BDKJ) und Ganztagsschule empirisch näher untersucht.
