Steve Bode O. Ekundayo
Steve Bode O. Ekundayo (b. 1973) lectures in the Department of English and Literature, University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. in the Sociolinguistics of ESL. His areas of interest are grammar, phonetics and phonology, semiotics, stylistics, practical criticism and creative writing. He has published over twenty books in some of these areas and many scholarly articles in both local and internal journals.
Esther Nkiruka Ugwu (b. 1958) is University Associate Professor at the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. Research interests include pragmatics, discourse analysis, critical discourse analysis, gender studies and semiotics. Publications include, “Rhetoric and Propaganda of Political Campaigns in Nigeria” (2007), “Kinesics and Symbolic Meanings of Dance in Nigeria” (2012), “The Flouting of the Maxim of Quality in Zulu Sofola's The Wizard of Law” (2013), “The Psycho-logistic and Actantial Portrayal of Women in Selected Plays of Zulu Sofola” (2014).
