The use of an EUCLIDean space in astronomy corresponds in the framework of general relativity to the introduction of an EUCLIDean “space of comparison”. We generalize this method till now used only in special cases and analyse the motion of test particles in the EUCLIDean space of comparison. The inertial mass of test particles is a tensor in the space of comparison. Independent of any CORIOLIS force the mass tensor is able to cause anisotropy effects that can be observed on principle.
