About this journal
Der Gegenstandsbereich der Zeitschrift für germanistische Linguistik (ZGL) ist die deutsche Sprache in Gegenwart und Geschichte in all ihren Differenzierungen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Standardsprache der Gegenwart. Die ZGL veröffentlicht Aufsätze, Diskussionen, Berichte über wichtige Ereignisse im Fach und Kommentare zu ausgewählten Büchern.

Vollständiger Archivzugriff
Ab 2026 umfasst jedes Zeitschriftenabonnement bei De Gruyter den Zugriff auf alle Ausgaben, von Band 1, Ausgabe 1 bis heute. Das bedeutet, dass Abonnenten ohne zusätzliche Kosten auf noch mehr Forschungsergebnisse zugreifen können.

In 2021, we welcome Noah Bubenhofer and Wolfgang Imo as new editors of the ZGL. At the same time, Prof. Dr. Angelika Linke leaves the group of editors after 25 years. We thank her for her important input and her great commitment!
