About this journal
Objective
Gender and Sustainability in the Global South (GSGS) is an international, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed and open-access journal. The journal aims to play a key role in developing and strengthening knowledge production about gender and sustainability and to promote wider communication among scholars, practitioners and policy-makers around the world. We also hope that it will be a key vehicle for research on gender and sustainability from different perspectives on topics ranging from social, economic, political, environmental, and cultural issues. The journal will be of interest to researchers, academics, undergraduate and postgraduate students, practitioners in the field of gender studies, international development, and sustainable development studies, as well as policy-makers.
