Corrosion Reviews has successfully transitioned to a fully Open Access model as of 2025. All articles are published under a CC-BY License, ensuring immediate and free global access to all research. Objective
Corrosion Reviews is an international bimonthly journal devoted to critical reviews and, to a lesser extent, outstanding original articles that are key to advancing the understanding and application of corrosion science and engineering in the service of society. Papers may be of a theoretical, experimental or prac tical nature, p rovided that theym ake a significant contribution to knowledge in the field.

Open Access

Corrosion Reviews will become an open access journal from 2025 onwards. All submissions made to the journal after the 1st November 2024 will be published open access under a CC-BY 4.0 license and will be subject to an article processing charge (APC), if they are accepted for publication.
