Abstract
Tadeusz Kowalik died on 30 July 2012, aged 86, after suffering from a serious illness for several years. This chapter summarises the main themes of the book and Kowalik’s work. His work remains extremely relevant during times of economic uncertainty and crisis, alongside the growth of right-wing nationalism and authoritarianism. Younger generations may draw inspiration from his and the Polish School’s work and seek to apply and extend it in the contemporary era.
