Abstract

This chapter re-examines themes and issues from contributors in this volume against the backdrop of geographical and cultural rigidity of views of sexuality and intimacy. The themes are accounts characterising perceptions, experiences, feelings, emotions and values of participants in research inquiries of this volume about sexuality across age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation and culture of majority world people from intergenerational and intragenerational perspectives. It reflects on the impact of marginalisation on personhood. Last, the chapter offers introspection for future research on ageing and intimacy.
