Abstract
The article is an invitation to the Autex 2022 - 21st World Textile Conference, which is organized by the Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design, Lodz University of Technology, Lodz, Poland. The conference will be held ONLINE on the 7th to the 10th June 2022, under the motto Passion for innovation. The conference will be focused on the latest scientific and technical achievements in the field of textiles.
1 About the conference
AUTEX is the Association of Textile Universities, which brings together prestigious universities in the field of the textiles from over 30 countries around the world. The association was founded in 1994 and its mission is to facilitate international cooperation in the field of high-level education and textile research. Since 2001, each year a different member of AUTEX has been organizing the conference, attended by hundreds of scientists and companies. The Autex Conference is one of the most important scientific events in the field of textiles, aimed at bringing together leading researchers, experts, students and people from the industry from around the world to share their knowledge, exchange scientific ideas and discuss the latest developments, new perspectives and directions for the future in the textile area.

2 Venue and term

The last Autex Conference was held online with great success on the 5th to the 9th September 2021 in Portugal. This time we have a great pleasure to invite everyone interested in the subject of textiles to attend the Autex 2022 - 21st World Textile Conference, organized by Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design, Lodz University of Technology, Lodz, Poland, which will be held ONLINE on the 7th to the 10th June 2022, under the motto Passion for innovation.
3 Themes
During the Autex 2022 Conference, the latest achievements and trends in the field of textiles will be presented, which will emphasize the dynamics and multidisciplinary approach to textiles. The wide thematic scope of the conference was divided into 5 main panel sessions, as presented below.

4 Procedure of papers submission
Authors are invited to submit an article of four pages, according to the format defined in the template at the conference website: https://www.autex2022.com. All submissions will be peer-reviewed based on originality, technical quality and scientific merit. Accepted peer-reviewed papers will be indexed by Web of Science. The accepted forms of scientific content presentation during the conference are oral and poster presentations. Each participant will receive a personal certificate in electronic form confirming participation in the Autex 2022 Conference. The key dates related to the registration, submission of papers and payments are presented below.

5 Programme
The conference programme includes opening and closing ceremonies, oral, poster and discussion sessions, as well as lunch & coffee breaks.
