A Review of Emotion Related Research on Organizational and Educational Issues in Turkey

Abstract

In this study, research on emotion with specific focus in organizational and educational issues in Turkey is reviewed. Literature on organizational and educational aspects of emotional labor in general is discussed, as well as prevalent themes in educational research in Turkey, scale development efforts to measure emotional qualities, research on emotional labor and emotional intelligence in Turkey. In a critical perspective, inquiries on emotional issues, a short research history of emotional labor and emotional intelligence studies in Turkey are reviewed and evaluated.
