  • Peter Comba

    Peter Comba (born 1953) obtained his scientific education from ETH Zurich. His main teachers were Werner Marty, Alan Sargeson and Andre Merbach. He has been at Heidelberg University since 1992. The Comba lab focuses on fundamental d- and f-group coordination chemistry, including synthesis, kinetics and mechanism, spectroscopy as well as theoretical and computational inorganic chemistry, with current projects in molecular magnetism, oxygen activation and medicinal inorganic chemistry. As a senior professor at Heidelberg University, he has an active research group, is a fellow of the Max-Planck School Matter to Life, member of the CaRLa research lab and guest professor at IIT Guwahati.
