Zusammenfassung

In diesem Aufsatz werden zwei Stellen im sogenannten ,Black Book of Carmarthen‘ unter Berücksichtigung von mkymr. pêr ,süß‘ und per(en) ,Birne, Birnbaum‘ erörtert. Siric a perwit wird zögernd als ,Seide und Gewürz‘ aufgefaßt; den genauen botanischen Sinn von afallen peren kann man jedoch nicht sicher bestimmen. - Ob das Adjektiv pêr von dem Baumnamen abzuleiten ist, bleibt zweifelhaft.
