    Eckhard Frick sj, MD, is a Roman-Catholic priest, psychiatrist and Jungian psychoanalyst. He is professor of spiritual care and psychosomatic health at the School of Medicine and Health, Technical University of Munich, and co-editor of SPIRITUAL CARE.

    Farzad Goli, MD, is a medical psychotherapist, author, and philosopher. With a focus on the theory and practice of psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy, he has founded “Bioenergy Economy” as an integrative model of care towards the sustainable development of happiness. This continued endeavor in the areas of psychosomatic medicine, transpersonal psychology, and cultural psychology has resulted in numerous publications, demonstrating the efficacy of Bioenergy Economy, leading to its expansion and development into the Bioenergy-based Health Improvement (BEHI) model; as well as being consolidated into books, including: “Bioenergy Economy”, “Biosemiotic Medicine: Healing in the World of Meaning”, and “Psychosomatic Medicine” by Springer. Member of Education, Bioethics and Philosophy of Medicine department, The Iranian Academy of Medical Sciences and editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Body, Mind, and Culture.

    and Mohammad Reza Sharbafchi

    Mohammad Reza Sharbafchi, MD, is a psychiatrist with a fellowship in psychosomatic medicine and psycho-oncology from Freiburg University, Germany. Since 2014, he has served as an assistant professor of psychiatry at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Iran. Dr. Sharbafchi’s primary research interests lie in Psychosomatic Medicine, Psycho-Oncology, Neurotic disorders, and Psychotherapy. Currently, he holds the position of the head of the psycho-oncology and pain clinic at the University Oncology Hospital in Isfahan. Additionally, he serves as the head of the Department of Psycho-Oncology and Spiritual Care at a non-governmental national cancer control center (MACSA). Dr. Sharbafchi played a pivotal role in establishing the first international education course on psycho-oncology in Iran through collaboration with Freiburg University, Germany. In the realm of education, he imparts knowledge on various subjects, including psychosomatic medicine, breaking bad news, and pain management. His teaching activities encompass participation in numerous courses designed for the training of trainers, organized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education in Iran.
