Zusammenfassung

Thema des Beitrages ist die Bedeutung der Kessel- und zoomorphen Modellwagen in der Späten Bronze- und Frühen Eisenzeit. Die Überlegungen gehen von einer vollständigen Vorlage und typo-chronologischen Analyse aller 1880 geborgenen Funde aus einer Grabhügelgruppe auf der Glasinac-Hochebene aus, in deren größtem Tumulus das Zentralgrab einen Vogelrindwagen und andere Ritual- und Symposialobjekte enthielt. Vergleiche mit italischen und balkanischen Vogel(rind)wägen und ihren Grabzusammenhängen werden gezogen. Weitere entscheidende Punkte betreffen den sozialen Status der mit einem Modellwagen Verstorbenen, die kultische Funktion dieser Miniaturwägen und den Inhalt der Wagenkessel bzw. zoomorphen Behälter.

Résumé

Le sujet de cette contribution est la signification des « charriots chaudrons » et « charriots modèles » zoomorphes dans l’âge du bronze final et dans l’âge du fer antérieur. Les réflexions partent du principe que tous les trouvailles de 1880 d’un groupe des collines tombales sur le plateau de Glasinac ont été présentées et analysées typochronologiquement en intégralité. Dans le tumulus le plus grand de cette groupe des collines tombales, la tombe centrale contenait un « charriot d’oiseau bovin » et des autres objets rituels et symposiales. On compare ce charriot avec des « charriots d’oiseau (bovin) » italiens et balkaniques et des connexions de leurs tombes. D’autres questions concernent le statut social des défunts enterrés avec un charriot modèle, la fonction cultuelle de ces charriots miniatures et le contenu des chaudrons du charriot ou des récipients zoomorphes.

Abstract

The topic of this article applies to the meaning of cult cars with vessels respectively zoomorphically shaped vessels dating to the Late Bronze and Early Iron Age.The considerations are based on the complete presentation and typo-chronological analyse of all finds, which were discovered in 1880 in a group of tumuli on the Glasinac; the central grave of the biggest tumulus contained a model cart with a vessel in the shape of a bird with ears of cattle as well as other ritual and symposial objects. Comparisons are made with Italian and Balcanic cult cars in their grave contexts. Other important issues relate to the social status of the dead, who were buried with a cult car, to the ceremonial function of the carts and the contents of their vessels respectively zoomorphic containers.
