At the end of the 2021 issues, Lucia Kornexl retired from the editorial board of Anglia. We very much hope that, despite this official farewell, her advice, help, knowledge and astute judgement will remain with us. Andrew James Johnston, whom we introduce to our readers in the following article, joins the editorial team of Anglia from the present volume.
We would like to express our great sadness about the sudden deaths of two members of our advisory board: J. Hillis Miller passed away on February 7, 2021. Laura Marcus died on September 22, 2021. Both of them were exceptional scholars in their fields with a world-wide reputation. We are grateful for their service on our advisory board and shall miss them much.
Finally, we would like to extend a warm welcome to five new members of the advisory board: Liliane Louvel, Susana Onega, Peter Schneck, James Simpson and Emily Thornbury.
