Abstract

In this text we pose the problem of the place of the political in Levinas' thought: is it placed at the level of the totality or beyond the totality? To answer this question we will reflect upon the concept of forgiveness because it marks, as I try to show in this text, the border between the totality and its beyond. I'll try to show, in this text, that the link that Levinas establishes between forgiveness and Feminine means that Feminine is the condition of possibility of politics.
