Abstract

The paper outlines the amendments of the Greek Act on Consumer Protection for the implementation of the Directive 2005/29/EC on Unfair Commercial Practices. The relevant provisions of the Act are critically examined. As they have been the result of harmonization with a ‘maximum’ Directive, the criticism which is made in this essay is valid both for the provisions of the Act and for the Directive.
