Abstract
We exploit the fact that horoconvex domains in ℍn are convex subsets of the Euclidean set hosting the hyperbolic model to compare the first eigenvalue of the Dirichlet Laplacian of a horoconvex domain Ω in ℍn to the first eigenvalue of the Dirichlet Laplacian of Ω in ℝn.
