Abstract

Fractional Klein-Gordon field at zero and positive temperature can be obtained as an infinite collection of corresponding fractional oscillators. Free energy associated with the fractional field and topological symmetry breaking of quartic selfinteracting fractional Klein-Gordon scalar massive and massless field theories on toroidal spacetime are discussed. Generalization of fractional field to variable order is briefly considered.
