Poétique saussurienne, poétique jakobsonienne

Résumé
This article focuses on the connections between Roman Jakobson’s and Ferdinand de Saussure’s ideas about poetics. It questions the readings of the Saussurian anagrams proposed by Jakobson. It shows that, if the approaches of poetry proposed by the two linguists present undeniable similarities, regarding the phonic figures or the importance of symmetry for instance, Jakobson’s interpretations submits Saussure’s approach to important modifications. These shifts reveal fundamental differences in their respective approaches to poetry that recall their divergences in terms of linguistic theory.
