This volume presents a set of chapters that honour some of his key contributions in language teaching and learning. Reviews
Jürgen Meisel, University of Hamburg and University of Calgary:
The cognitive turn in second language acquisition research in the 1970s triggered a wealth of theoretically informed empirical studies. Few researchers had as profound an impact on these developments over the subsequent 40 years as Michael H. Long. It is gratifying to see that the studies in this volume live up to the depth and breadth of Mike’s own research and honour his memory beautifully.
