Einfluss des Wohnumfeldes auf die körperliche Aktivität

Einleitung

Um Bewegungsmangel entgegenzuwirken, folgten bisher die meisten Bewegungsinterventionen kognitiv-verhaltensorientierten Ansätzen, die allerdings zusammenfassend betrachtet nicht substanziell zu einem langfristigen und nachhaltigen Effekt der erfolgreichen Bewegungsförderung beitragen konnten. In diesem Zuge ist der Einbezug der Wohnumwelt als möglicher Einflussfaktor auf das Bewegungsverhalten jüngst in den Blickpunkt der Forschung gerückt und wird nachstehend für den Erwachsenenbereich näher beleuchtet.

Summary

Most often, interventions to promote physical activity focused on cognitive-behaviour modifications neglecting environmental influences. However, these interventions did not result in a substantial success, particularly for long-term effects in increasing physical activity. Recent efforts have been made by considering the environment, especially the built environment to promote physical activity and shall be highlighted below.
